Sisters...LOVE IT!!!

We went for a run tonight, which made us get home a bit later than normal...so we made a pizza and had ice cream as a treat. Usually Luci is on the end of getting fed, but Ella finished her ice cream first and was trying to bum some off of Luci...of course I caught it on video...enjoy...

We have really seen Luci grow up over the past week. She is going on 15 months soon!!! Can't wait to see what she does next. Ella and I are working on potty training.................I wish it was OVER!!!! But, I think God is using it to teach me patience. Our half marathon is on Saturday!!! Wish us luck!!!!

Pumpkins!

I love the fall...mostly because of a break from the hot, humid weather...but also because of caramel apples, changing leaves, hayrides and of course pumpkins. Last year my pictures @ the pumpkin patch did not go that well. Luci was about two months old--Ella was just under two years old (it was about 95 degrees, too). Most of the time I spent chasing her around...not to mention her almost running and falling into a big pile of horse poop near the petting zoo. This year brings GREAT memories, we had a great time @ a fall festival downtown near the inner harbor. There were pumpkins...caramel apples:)...square dancing...apple cider...well you get the idea. Here are some great pictures of the fun...and the video of Ella dancing near the area where they were teaching square dancing.

This song makes me want to live in Alabama:)

Luci loved the odd shaped gourds...

Ella stopping to smell the flowers.

Ella picked out her very own pumpkin.

I think Luci really wanted the gourd...that is the apple that Ella went bobbing for in her other hand...

Taking a break:)

Luci was trying to pick the BIG pumpkins up...surprisingly she was unsuccessful.

First taste of apple cider...a mild fan!

Fall is coming...fun around the house!

Fall is mostly here! I love it...everything from pumpkins, colored leaves, sweatshirts, yummy soup! Well the girls are growing up so fast. Ella will turn 3 in a little over a month!!!!!! I can't believe it, and Luci is really starting to show her personality...unfortunately right now it is clouded because she is breaking at least 4 teeth right now.

We made pumpkin bread and muffins today: here are some pictures of that and just fun around the house! Enjoy!

Luci loves to spatter milk from her sippy cup on her face...strange

Luci feeding her baby

She is going to be such a good mom...apparently of three!

Cutie!

Here is Ella trying out the pumpkin batter.

Ella's first experience @ a fire station!

Ella's new friend Samuel turned two this weekend and had is party @ a fire house!! It was a total hit for all the kids, Ella's favorite was spraying the hose--Here are some pictures, sorry about the quality they were taken from my cellphone. She also learned to stop, drop and roll:) Mark had to study/write papers this week, so he stayed home with a sleeping Luci....
Have a great week!

Here she is spraying the hose!

In the fire truck on a quick tour of the block...didn't really know what to think....

The FUN continues!!!

We went to Pittsburgh this past weekend to visit Aaron and Danielle (and Peanut)! It was a great time...despite the rain most of Saturday. Ella and Luci loved seeing/playing with them--I love to see the smiles on their faces!!!! Danielle and Aaron are excellent photographers...they took some AWESOME pictures of the girls, so with their permission I wanted to share some with you! Thanks Auntie and Aaron for a great time:) You guys are gonna make WONDERFUL parents!

Danielle and Me:)

Luci loved when you blow on her tummy, she even held up her own shirt:)

CUTIE!

Another CUTIE!

See I told you they were great, I could load about 50 more, but I will stick with this for now.
Thanks for all the well wishes on Mark getting commissioned into the Navy. We are excited and slightly overwhelmed about all the different possibilities, but of course, know that God is in control!

We also had our first well baby check ups for the kids today, our pediatrician seemed to be great-which was such a relief (since we totally miss Dr. Jones in Glasgow). Luci did have to get four shots today:( That was the not so fun part, but at least I didn't have to make a separate appointment @ the health department.

Well I must get to bed if I am going to get up and run tomorrow!!!
